MOTHER IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE AND THE SOURCE OF LIGHT IN OUR LIVES

Humanity has always needed wives and mothers and their contribution to the development of society. Today, the status of a woman mother in society has been increased, which makes it possible to actively participate in the spheres of the national economy of our country. During the period of independence, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has consistently taken care to improve the status and position of a woman mother. To honor the memory of the mother in the past, our ancestors also celebrated a certain day every year as a mother’s holiday. As Aburai writes from the outside, there has been a tradition of celebrating Mother’s Day between the holidays and rituals of the Tajik people since ancient times. According to him, this holiday was celebrated on Tajik soil in the third month of winter, called Isfandormuz (in accordance with February-March), as a celebration of the beauty and greatness of a mother woman. Over time, this magnificent historical holiday of our ancestors was revived thanks to the state independence of our country.

Celebrating Mother’s Day in early spring is symbolic because the awakening of nature is like the revival of a mother. On this blessed day, people should come to visit their mothers and sisters. Currently, each of us is witnessing that there are favorable opportunities for the full functioning of women in the country, and their participation in State and public affairs is always in the spotlight. The decree of the President of the country «on measures to improve the status of women in society» on the world stage has once again proved the democratic and secular state of the Republic of Tajikistan. This important document served as a guideline for the development and adoption of dozens of other normative legal acts that contribute to improving the socio-economic, cultural and spiritual status of families, increasing the status of women in society, their active participation in government, training gifted and educated personnel at the expense of girls, improving women’s legal education and improving the health of mothers and children. The mother is the firstborn of mankind, and the child learns the first word from her. Every mother with great literacy, knowledge, experience and skill brings up a literate and good-natured child. Even the language level of a child depends on the language level of the mother, because people knowingly said: «the speaker became the one who heard from the mother.» A mother, in addition to giving birth to her child, also teaches the child the most noble human qualities.
